2017 Legislative Conference and Lobby Day
The Legislative Conference will take place on Tuesday, February 28th, at 9am to 5pm at FHI 360 at 1825 Connecticut Ave NW (8th Floor) in Washington, DC. Registration will open at 8:30am. Join us to learn about key federal legislative issues, meet other advocates, and learn best practices for building effective relationships with Members of Congress and their staff. Attendance at the Legislative Conference is required in order to participate in the Lobby Day.
While we strongly encourage not bringing children, we will have a family room to accommodate advocates who cannot participate without bringing children. This room will have a remote broadcast of the main hall's proceedings, and families will be welcome to join the lunch. Parents will be responsible for their children at all times, and cannot leave a child unattended.
The Lobby Day breakfast will be on Wednesday, March 1st, from 7:30-9am at the Hyatt Regency Washington at 400 New Jersey Avenue NW in Washington, DC. Please arrive promptly in order to be seated for remarks from leaders on Capitol Hill. The Lobby Day will take place in House and Senate office buildings on Wednesday, March 1st. You will receive your schedule at the Legislative Conference.
It is important that you use your home address to register so Hill meetings can be scheduled with the appropriate elected officials. Please indicate below the number of meetings you would like us to try to schedule for you during Lobby Day.
Seats at the Legislative Conference are reserved for patients, caregivers and other advocates. If you are a member of industry interested in attending, please contact Carol Kennedy at CKennedy@everylifefoundation.org.
We do not schedule Lobby Day meetings for members of industry.
